Needlefelt your Pet

Location: Elora Centre for the Arts

Learn the finer points of Needle felting a 2D portrait. Explore the techniques and blending needed to create a realistic portrait. Students will create a portrait of their choice, from the very beginning of transferring the picture onto the background fabric and then learning the steps in creating the picture so they can continue at home and explore the beauty of wool painting.

2D Animal Portrait Needlefelting

Needle Felting Portait Class

Learn how to create a wet felted hat that is unique and one of a kind using wool, silk and a resist. Cost is 120.00 which includes wool, silk, hat block and notes. The student can take home their resist and hat block. Please pm for list of things to bring.

Wet Felted Hats

Location: Rachel’s Book Hall 4193 Hamilton Road, Dorchester, ON

Open Subject for a needle felted portrait ( except landscapes). the instructor will take you through all the stages of creating a realistic portrait from transferring your image to choices in mounting your work. Colour theory is explained so the student understands how colours can create a 3D effect. Cost is $105.00 which includes the personalized kit with the foam, needles, wool, notes and the background fabric with your chosen image on it.
